Hungry Hippo

I usually shred cheese in our food processor and the hungry hippo spots it immediately.  Most times there is negotiating on how much cheese she is allowed to have, today was not one of those days...

However, she did come up for air.

So, we had not raked the leaves from our American Sycamore in our backyard. The tree is huge, as you can imagine. E thought it would be great to get comfortable with nature and she did a great job! Never mind the time I spent making that skirt . Oh well, she (and Elmo) had a great time!

Cherry Deluxe

I bought a new skirt pattern for Elmo's guardian.  The pattern was written and designed by Jona G of Fabritopia, where she sells a great selection of fabric.  This skirt took no time to sew--as always, it took me longer to decide on what fabrics to use.  I was a bit skeptical of using the cherry fabric for apparel,  it would better suit an apron, but, I began feeling adventurous...turns out, I really like it! 




I love the apron on the skirt and of course, the pocket!
